02. After I sign up when will my pickup start?

We will drop a bin off the next day we service your neighborhood, most commonly Wednesday or Friday depending on where you live.

03. What day is my pickup?

Bins are collected on Wednesday or Friday depending on your neighborhood. We have plans to expand to other days in the future.

04. What items can I compost?

Vegetable scraps, fruits & peels, meat, seafood, paper towels & napkins, egg shells, coffee grinds & filters, tea bags (remove staples), herbs & flowers, leftover food, greasy pizza boxes, and most anything that was living.

Please do not put any plastic, metal, glass, rubber bands, styrofoam, or other synthetic material in the bins.

05. If I am going away how do I cancel my pick up?

Text us 24 hours before your pick up date and we will take you off the route.

06. How can I avoid a smelly bin?

If you keep the lid secured there won’t be any smells except when you add contents. Some people freeze their scraps until the day before pickups which completely eliminates odors.

07. How long does the subscription last?

Until it’s canceled.

08. What are these compostable bags and where can I get more when they run out?

Compostable liners keep the bins clean and makes for an easier collection. We provide a dozen with the initial bin drop off & provide additional ones as needed.

09. Do you pick up from Commercial Businesses?

Send us a note through the “Contact Us” form. We will do our best to accommodate your business needs.

08. Do I receive finished compost? How much and when?

Customers who would like to receive finished compost are given up to 3 bags of our premium soil in the Spring (~60lbs). Additional bags of compost may be purchased for $15.
